This guide explains how Testpress works and the important settings to update when you begin.

What is Testpress?
Testpress is a platform for running online exams, courses, and learning programs. Testpress helps you run your learning and testing activities in a simple and organized way. Testpress gives you the flexibility to teach, sell, and grow your learning business.

Key Settings to Update:

This key setting series is here to guide you through the essential setup steps of your institute:

  • Institute Name – Add your institute’s display name.

  • Logo and Favicon – Upload branding elements shown across your site and browser tab.

  • Contact Info & Address – Set details that appear on the Contact page.

  • Reply-to Email – Choose the email that receives student replies.

  • Verification Method – Select how new users are verified (Email/OTP/None).

  • Allow Student Registration – Control whether students can sign up on their own.

  • Allowed Login Methods – Choose login options like Email, Social, or OTP.

  • Allow Video Download in App – Decide if videos can be downloaded offline.

  • Allow PDF Download – Let students download PDFs when needed.

  • Video Watermark – Upload a watermark applied to all course videos.

  • PDF Watermark – Add a watermark for course PDFs.

  • Time Zone – Set the default time zone for your institute.

  • Login Label Renaming – Change the text shown on the login screen.

  • Payment Success Script – Add scripts to run after successful payments.

  • Order Success Webhook – Send order data to an external URL.

  • Allow Users to Edit Profile – Let students update their own profile details.

  • Disable Forgot Password – Turn this on to block password reset requests.

  • Disable Content Comments – Remove the ability to comment on course content.

  • Social Media Links – Add links to your institute’s social pages.

With these settings in place, you can start creating content and managing your learners.
